Made muah chee today for my brother and myself! Tried a different recipe once where I just had to microwave the glutinous rice mixture. I must say the recipe I used from Nyonya Cooking gave me a better chewy-yet-sticky- consistency for the muah chee ~ and I chose to stuck with the classic peanut and sugar mix for the coating. This takes me all the way back to my primary school years in Penang!!!
